Riverfront Lawn Cut Back & Mowed

The grass on this riverfront property had gone to seed. A band of it ran along the bank in front of the house, and the slope above the concrete retaining wall had grown in over the wall itself, so the whole yard read as unkempt from the road and from the water.

We cut it down and mowed it out level, working carefully around the wall, the shed and the drop to the water’s edge. Long grass like this cannot come down to a finished height in one pass without leaving heavy clippings on the lawn, so it was taken down in stages and cleaned up as we went.

Both photo pairs below are the same spot before and after: the bank beside the house, and the slope above the retaining wall. A one-time cut like this brings a property back to a height that can be maintained normally from then on.
